SPB General Secretary calls on PM Dahal

Kathmandu, Dec 12: The visiting Bangladeshi delegation led by General Secretary of Socialist Party of Bangladesh (SPB) Khalequzzaman today called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

During the meeting that took place at the PM’s official residence Baluwatar, matters relating to bilateral ties existing between the two countries and inter-party relations were discussed, according to Dahal’s private secretariat.

On the occasion, PM Dahal apprised the Bangladeshi delegation that Nepal is in the process of institutionalising the agenda of change as it hopes that this would help the country get economic progress, as stated by the PM’s Private Secretariat.

“The effective enforcement of the constitution, successful completion of the peace process, post–earthquake reconstruction and rebuilding works and leading the country towards the path of progress are the top priorities of the incumbent government,” he said, expecting closer ties between the two countries in the issues of national welfare and common interests in the days ahead.

SPB General Secretary said he wants to establish a friendly relation between the SPB and CPN (Maoist Centre). He also invited PM Dahal to pay a visit to Bangladesh. RSS
